Cancer is considered a major health problem worldwide, affecting millions of people every year. Cancer is an abnormal behavior of some cells, which results in the formation of cancer cells, tumor growth and the formation of metastases.

Many cancer patients who have won the battle against survival have been fortunate enough to be able to combine traditional conventional treatment with natural cancer treatment. This dual approach can help support the whole body and mind in the healing process, which can sometimes be very lengthy and very complicated. Today, an early combination of chemotherapy and nutritional therapy is able to save the lives of thousands of patients diagnosed with cancer.

Strategies that are completely under your own control, including whether you eat healthily, drink vegetable juices, consume probiotic foods, take immune-boosting supplements, manage stress, can give you strength and hope in fighting disease whose treatment is a long-term matter.

Inflammation is a fundamental problem that dictates the onset of cancer tumor growth, progression, and spread. According to research, 30 to 40 percent of all cancers can be prevented through a healthy lifestyle and dietary measures. Other sources say that the number is actually much higher, and that even 75% of cancer cases are due to a person’s lifestyle.

An alkaline diet that should be read by everyone, but especially cancer patients

Knowledge of pH and acid-base balance is important not only for oncology patients, but for every person who wants to avoid civilization and chronic diseases.

After all, everyone needs to maintain an alkaline environment in their body in order to stay healthy.

pH of the indoor environment

As Raw Food Health reports:

The human body makes every effort to maintain a slightly alkaline environment at pH 7.35. However, poor diet and stress change this environment towards acidity, in which diseases thrive.

Here, however, it should be noted that it is important to distinguish between blood pH and the pH of tissues or intercellular spaces. While the blood monitors pH and acid-base balance in a very narrow range, it can move more freely in other body tissues.

Unfortunately, due to the widespread habit of eating unhealthily, maintaining an alkaline indoor environment is not easy.

People used to consume pre-prepared packaged meals from the microwave, delicacies or other processed foods. All of them are extremely unhealthy for the body in the case of cancer.

Therefore, it is important that cancer patients consume an alkaline or alkaline diet. This reverses the progression of the disease and speeds up the healing processes in the body.

As we have already mentioned, the pH imbalance and the acidic environment are the perfect fungus for the development of cancer. On the other hand, an alkaline diet restores balance and suppresses inflammation in the body, which is often the main precursor to the development of cancer.

Good Food during Cancer

An alkaline diet consists mainly of the following best diet to fight cancer:

  • green leafy vegetables
  • broccoli
  • root vegetables
  • spices and herbs
  • beans, peas, lentils
  • cauliflower and cabbage
  • garlic, onion, leek and chives
  • nuts and seeds
  • small amounts of gluten-free grains such as rice

In addition to these foods, moderate amounts of meat from animals raised on fresh grass, clean fish and organic poultry are allowed a few times a week.

However, the basis is fresh vegetables and in a slightly smaller volume due to sugar and fruit. Healthy oils are also very important: avocado, flax or coconut. Consumption of ground flax seeds and fresh avocado (excellent especially for leukemias) is also recommended.

Bad foods to avoid

Gluten causes inflammation, so avoid foods that contain it. These are mainly foods high in gluten, such as:

  • grains
  • rye
  • wheat
  • also pasta, cakes, pastries, bread, biscuits and other baked foods

Instead, eat grains that do not contain gluten, for example: rice, quinoa, buckwheat, amaranth and millet. Also avoid processed gluten-free foods, as they are usually high in sugars and processed oils.

Sugar and cancer

Cancer cells have been shown to consume more sugar (4x) than healthy ones. This is because they get their energy not by burning sugars, but by fermentation, which is less efficient than burning, so they need more sugar linked to cancer.

For this reason, the cancer patient should avoid foods high in not only sugars but also other carbohydrates that are quickly converted to sugars.

In addition, sugar consumes the body’s supply of magnesium, which also contributes to cancer.

It is also good to avoid natural sugar sources such as agave or honey. The only exception is a small amount of honey, which is part of some natural anticancer treatments.

You can consume a few figs or dried apricots, unsweetened apple sauce and fresh pineapple (it has a high content of the anti-cancer enzyme bromelain).
